Yesterday 8 moms and 21 kids met up at the Ocoee Firestation for a tour...it was probably one of the nicest firestations and tours we have ever gone on. The firefighters were great! The kids were shown a nicey cheesy video on fire safety. We got a tour of their sleeping/eating quarters. We went out to the truck and got to see every item on board. The kids also got to climb inside the truck and sit in the seats. At the very end the kids even got to spray the firehose...that was definitely a highlight of the afternoon!
Afterwards, many of us went over to a nearby park and watched the kids play on the playground. We packed our lunches and even had a craft to do provided by Rebecca Garcia. The kids covered pinecones in peanut butter and birdseed...yummo for the our squirrels back home!!!
The weather was perfect and it was such a nice day to spend with our friends outside!!!

Looks like fun. I find it amazing that many of the kids are wearing shorts. We are wearing snowpants, coats, hats, and gloves. LOL
