I'm so enjoy being able to school when we want, how we want and in the order we want.
Somedays school is the same, same time, same place in our house, same order of events. There are days when we do Bible, Reading, History and Science out on the couch in the playroom first, have a break, and then go into the schoolroom for phonics, handwriting and math. Other days we flip flop it and do phonics and math first...bible later.
There are many days that we call "pajama day" when we just don't feel like changing out of our comfy pajamas! :)
Today, because it was just too beautiful outside, we saved our reading lessons to be held outside after our picnic. We ate our lunch on a blanket in the front yard and then both boys did each of their lessons while the other listened in. It was such fun, and really doesn't feel like school at all.

we LOVE school outside! We rest on our bellies when it's time to do math! Last night we did a short lesson at 7pm when I was feeling a bit better! Flexibility rocks!
