This past weekend our family got to stay at my aunt's wonderful condo on the beach! She texted and offered it to us last week, and it couldn't have come at a better time...we sorely needed it! Preston got off work Friday night, we packed up the car, and then took off! Kids, dogs, boogie boards and bathing suits in tow!
It was a very relaxing, no stress weekend. We did A LOT of boogie boarding. On Monday morning Preston accidentally stubbed his toe in the kitchen which actually drew blood. While we were all out in the water boogie boarding, he proceeded to remind me that sharks can smell a drop of blood for miles! Great. Just the thought I wanted in my mind as all things I hold dear were out there in the shark infested waters! LOL
After getting beat up by one too many waves, we decided to hang up our bathing suits, clean up and head to the boardwalk in Daytona!
Ashton immediately spotted this crazy G-force type of sling shot ride. It was ridiculously expensive, but he insisted since he was going to spend his own money. When he got to the counter to pay for One, the employee said that he was too light to go on his own. He would allow one of us to go for free to counter balance the machine. Ummm, no thank you, but sure...Preston! LOL
Preston was a good sport and agreed to go with Ashton.
They got all strapped in and then sling shot into outer space at an amazingly fast speed! Barf!!!!
It was short lived, but I'm thinking if it were me in that harness I'd be thanking my lucky st
