Today Ashton woke up FULL of excitement! "Is today the day, Mom?" He asked..."it sure is honey!"......YIPPEEE! was probably heard down the street around the block.
What was so special about today you may ask???
Well, today was the day that Ashton got to go to TFA (the school that big brother Ethan goes to) to meet all the teachers and do his assessment. TFA tests each of the kids to evaluate if they are ready for their kindergarten program. Actually, Ashton's birthday technically falls in a month that he would be accepted into Kindergarten, but I want to hold him back one more year, giving him a bit more time to just be a kid and not into the pressures of academics...he would have been the very youngest in his class, so we are pushing for TK (Transitional Kindergarten) which prepares the kids for Kindergarten, 5 days a week, but only until 11:45am. He would then go to Kindergarten in 2009 and would be one of the oldest in his class. I think I like it better that way! He could care less, he's just excited to go to "big boy school"!

When is his birthday? Boston is March.
Cricket...it's August 18th...so he only makes the cut off by 12 days!
