Visit with the Byrums!!

After our stay with Nonna we headed over towards Nashville to spend the last half of our week with our lifelong friends, the Byrums.  Gary has been Preston's best friend since they were 14 years old!  

It rained for the majority of the time while we were there, but we didn't let that stop us from having fun!

 Another HIGHLIGHT of the trip was the creek near the community pool!  The kids had an absolute BALL playing in the creek and building dams to stop up the flow of water.

While the kids would play, and sometimes into the late night, Nikki got me hooked on watching the British series, Downton Abbey!  It was soooo good.  We watched both seasons (1&2) in just a few days!

We had a great time, and hated to leave!  Ethan particularly really will miss Jared's friendship on a daily basis.  They are great friends, and really get along so well together.  I pray that it will be a lifelong friendship, just like their Daddies!
