No, not the two trees I've been agonizing over...but the ugly Laurel Oak on the right side of the property that sits where our new master bedroom will be came down today! yeah...progress!
After a good night's sleep and a fresh perspective on our tree dilemma we've decided to have our surveyor's come back out to the property and locate the trees and do a plot plan so I'll know for sure exactly where they are located. If it IS indeed too close to the house then we have 5-6 feet that we could push the house back and still be inside of the required setbacks. There goes more of my backyard, but that's okay if it saves those trees. The surveryors are coming on Monday, should have the results by Tuesday and they said that they could then return on Wednesday to mark the corners for my concrete guy to get started. Soooo...we may actually have footers in the ground by the end of next week! How cool is that???!!! :)
