Christmas Morning at home

 One of the traditions that I have carried on in our home that my mom did for my brother and me, was clues in our stockings instead of the goods.  In order to get the stocking presents we had to hunt them down.  Each year I do it a bit differently, and this year there were riddles and clues of where to find their gifts.  I put these clues in their stockings when everyone went to bed on Christmas Eve.

 The present opening got underway.  We do it one at a time, especially since the boys receive only three gifts from us...something they need, something they read and something they want.  Here Ethan is actually opening up his gift from Ashton.  Ashton saved his allowance and bought Ethan the Darth Vader light saber he had been wanting!

 Here was Ethan's "something you read" present.  None other than his favorite football hero...Tim Tebow! :)

 This is Ashton's "something you need" gift...ear phones!  Now he no longer needs to hunt mine down to listen to his iPod!

 This year we got both boys a Kindle for their "something they want" gift...even though they never really told us they "wanted it"...I knew they would like it!

 YEP!  They did!  THANKS DAD!!!  As they pile on him to give joyful hugs!!!

 Now it's time for the stocking stuffers...my favorite part of the morning honestly!

It was a very fun morning!  We are certainly blessed indeed.  We got cleaned up and headed over to my mom's for Christmas brunch!
